File under : taking a deep breath
Since my last post...
My apartment was flooded (and no, it's not even raining)
I had to give a lecture (which actually went ok, considering I couldn't work on it the day before, because my apartment was flooded)
I got stuck scheduling a research conference (which is this week)
I received a SIZABLE bill for doctor's visits (which my insurance decided not to cover, but didn't tell anyone)
I've now moved all of my furniture twice, which will likely lead to more doctor's visits I can't afford. Now I'm blogging, because if I check my email, I'll have 30 more messages about this conference, which will entail another 30 replies, as well as some new messages. (the last time I checked I found out our keynote speaker cancelled) And I missed a good concert last night.
So Memorial Day weekend better damn well kick ass.
And if anyone wants to fly to San Francisco the last weekend in June, I think I'm going to see Radiohead in Berkeley. (I have flyer miles that are about to expire). Tix go on sale Sunday.
