*I didn't consider a lineup where Posey slides to the 4 to guard Odom, leaving KG on Gasol - this probably gives Kobe more breathing room, but it's an option that may come into play, depending on who's hot and who's in foul trouble down the stretch.
*I'm sick of reading previews that give the Lakers an edge because of how much Kobe "wants it" or has something to prove without Shaq. Fuck him. You don't think KG, Truth and RayRay want it as much?
*I think the Lakers' bench is getting too much credit. I don't remember who's column it was (Update - it was celticsblog) but they pointed out that one key to the success of their bench is that they're all pretty good three point shooters, but that could be nullified by the C's having the best defensive 3-point % in the NBA. Lots of guys can make open triples, but if Boston's D rotates well, it could result in some long rebounds and fast breaks the other way.
*It's not a must win tonight, but I'll feel a lot better if I don't have to dwell on being down 0-1 until Sunday night. Fans better blow the roof off of the GAHDEN tonight - and not let up when Kobe goes on a little run.
