So I used to dig on the New York Times Op-Ed page, until they decided to charge for access to their columnists, which I don't find worthy of my hard earned change. So, I've got Slate, and the Boston Globe, which is fine, since I don't have a ton of time to read non-science stuff. So, my fave current columnist is Derrick Z Jackson . (Mark Morford from the SF Chronicle also recently received a coveted spot in my XML folder).
DZJ's column today pointed out something interesting. The minimum wage has not been raised since 1997. Good thing there hasn't been any inflation in the last NINE years.
