I just started a huge rant about the officiating - which is not why the celtics lost, by the way- then deleted it. Clearly the NBA is corrupt, and I'm an idiot for caring, especially given Tim Donaghy's newest batch of allegations. What's disturbing is that everyone assumed that the officiating would favor LA tonight. And no one thinks that this is a problem.
That's as bad as the C's can play. And they were right there - a 2 point game with 2:40 to go.
KG/PP combined for 8-35 from the floor (19 points). Will not happen on Thursday. Lakers scored 87. Celtics get their O in gear, this series is over - they're the better team. Flat out.
Eddie House - welcome aboard! That's enough with the Cassell thing, Doc.
As goes Rondo - well, he played poorly. And injured. He'll be back.
KG - I'm done waiting for him to attack the rim. Ain't gonna happen.
PP - I expect better. Period.
After Kobe and Vujacic - Lakers leading scorer was Gasol w/9.
Lamar Odom, we hardly knew ye.
All I'm saying - Boston played like shit, and only lost by 6. I expect a win in game 4 to take it to 3-1. Kobe's breakout game that everyone's been predicting? 36 points on 20 shots and a lot of calls. I conceded this one at the tip, then got hope when the C's kept it close throughout, but they've NEVER been able to break through in that situation this year. Come out strong on Thursday, and it'll go well.
More later...
